Daniel Arbet completed his studies at the Faculty of Law of the University of Trnava, where he subsequently worked either as a doctoral student or as an assistant professor at the Department of International Law and European Law. His academic focus is mainly in the field of international humanitarian law and international criminal law, and he has a long-standing interest in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. He has completed a number of study and research stays abroad and prior to joining the League, he represented asylum seekers in the territory of the Slovak Republic and provided legal advice to foreigners detained in the Medvedov Detention Centre.
