Before Samira joined the League as Project Manager in July this year (2022), she tried her hand at volunteering with us as a Project Assistant for a year in 2006. She is a graduate of political science from the University of Trnava. After a short stint as a journalist on public television, she settled for a long time in Berlin, where she worked in consular services. As a volunteer, she has been working on the integration of Syrian and Afghan refugees in Germany since 2015.
