The Human Rights League is a non-profit and non-governmental organization established in 2005 by lawyers and advocates involved in the legal counselling provided to refugees and asylum seekers in Slovakia. Currently, HRL does not focus mainly on refugees, but provides assistance to foreigners from non-EU countries residing in Slovakia, concerning different aspects of their residence and Slovak citizenship, or detention and forced return. We also provide country of origin information research and analysis, organize Slovak language courses for our clients and do many other activities with the aim to assist our clients to integrate into our society.
