On the occasion of the World Refugee Day, which is celebrated annually on June 20th, Sunday Parade took place in Stará Tržnice in Bratislava for the seventh time.
On this day, along with many other organizations, initiatives and communities of foreigners, we recalled the strength, courage and perseverance of millions of refugees.
For example, we prepared an interactive card game on "from which country does this food come from?" People had the opportunity to get to know the countries by flags or play a "round of luck," and a workshop with the author of the comic book Uletenci was also prepared. This event was supported within the project Migration Compass funded from the Operational Programme Effective Public Administration of the European Social Fund.
